The Gulf Coast Rescue Squad has been serving the Brazoria County area since 1964. The organization continues to provide search and rescue services for Brazoria County boaters in distress and other water related occurrences, such as recovering drowning victims. We are an all-volunteer organization that is on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing free services to all persons in Brazoria County.
In May of 2016 we performed many water rescues throughout the county. During Hurricane Harvey in 2017 the Gulf Coast Rescue Squad had over 1700 volunteer man hours. We helped run the command center and performed multiple water rescues.
Every April we host our annual fundraiser to help us raise money for the Gulf Coast Rescue Squad. We depend on generous contributions from the Brazoria County Commissioner’s Court, area businesses, our volunteers and the general public.
We would greatly appreciate any donation that you can offer for our organization. The money that we raise helps us to maintain current and purchase new equipment, trucks and boats as well as maintaining and expanding our headquarter building.
We would like to thank you for donation to the Gulf Coast Rescue Squad, it is generous people like you who help keep our organization running.
